A downloadable vow for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Welcome to The Reticent Playtest!

This playtest serves to identify any potential bugs in my game. Your feedback is crucial in refining the gaming experience. Should you encounter any insurmountable challenges or experience any issues, your feedback would be greatly appreciated to aid in our improvement efforts.

About The Reticent:

In The Reticent, you assume the role of a child in the first chapter, desperately trying to survive until dawn while evading a monstrous entity with a penchant for devouring children.

How to Play:

- Utilize the A or D keys to move left or right.

- Approach the button to check for the monster's presence.

- If the monster is on the bed in its final state, press the button beside the door to scare it away.

- If the monster reaches its final stage at the door, seek refuge near the bed and hold the spacebar to hide.

- If the monster reaches its final stage at the window, immediately hold the spacebar to avoid detection.

- When the sound of footsteps dissipates, release the spacebar to emerge from hiding.

Your feedback and insights are instrumental in shaping The Reticent. Thank you for participating in this playtest and for your invaluable contribution to our game's development!

NOTE:

Since there’s only one monster, if it’s not at the door, it’s likely at the window, and remember, the monster you see under the bed is just a hallucination that won’t lead to a game over, but don’t forget to flash your light at it!

This game is inspired at Five Nights at Freddy's
